Patrick a I went on a picnic for his birthday last month. We had yummy pastrami and havarti sandwiches, cream soda and some foreign chocolate cookies I happened upon at big lots. It was a delicious picnic! And a very nice day. We got lucky that it wasn't meltingly hot outside. We were going to go swimming in the lake (ew. fish water. The ocean is just different.) But a storm was coming in and we didn't want to take any chances.
We also went
to a St. Louis Cardinal's game. They lost. Of course. But it was still fun! But it was hot that day. I didn't stay in my seat. Sweat was rolling down places that sweat didn't need to be rolling down. I was never a fan of baseball until I moved to Southern Illinois...maybe it was one thing I missed out on i
